Kyoto Botanical Garden - Kyoto-JAPAN







Are you are lovers of flowers? Or may include various types of plant lovers? So no need to worry if you deciding to travel to Kyoto while on vacation to Japan. While in town, the number of city parks that are not as much in Tokyo, but that does not mean you can not do here nature know. Not far from Kitayama Station, there is a large park named Kyoto Botanical Garden (or Kyoto Furitsu Shokubutsuen). From the name alone is able to guess if the park is also known as the Kyoto Prefectural Botanical is a botanical garden.

But of course the park is not the usual botanical garden, because it has a conservatory. The park is said to have been opened since 1924 (although there is also the opinion of this park has existed since 1917). But then the operation of the park was halted during World War II, and the newly re-opened in 1961.

This area is one of the popular areas to visit in the spring, because at that time the flowers will bloom in this area. Other interesting spots to visit in the spring of course lies in the collection Cheri trees in this park.

Kyoto Botanical Garden has 500 trees Cheri (Sakura will bloom in the spring) and consists of 70 varieties, so you can enjoy a wide variety of flowers Sakura in one place.
