Typical characteristics of the Australian people

Typical characteristics of the Australian people?

Australia as a country called Kangaroos and koalas and Australia also has Multi-culture is there any means Australia have ethnic and cultural the diversity.

Given the diverse of today's Australia, some people give question whether there is a 'typical' Australian?
Of course, many popular stereotypes, some of which are contradictory.

For example, some people see Australia as an egalitarian, and not politely with a deep suspicion of authority while others regard them as law-abiding people and even conformist.
Some people, especially those living abroad, believe Australians mostly live in rural, inland or regional Australia. In fact, more than 75 per cent of Australians live a cosmopolitan lifestyle in urban centers, especially in major cities along the coast. Others see the Australian population as people who live in the 'lucky country' who love their leisure time activities, especially sports, both as spectators and as participants. In fact, Australia's population is among the hardest workers in the world some of which have the longest working hours in the developed countries.

Another common perception is that Australia's population was informal, open and direct and say what they mean. They are also seen as a person who believes in the principle of giving others a fair chance and defend their companions, namely those who are less lucky and weak.

Many of the popular view contains the truth and most of the Australian population according to at least some of these perceptions.

But people Australia, like other people, can not easily be stereotypes about. There is a "hallmark" of Australians everywhere. But they are not all the same.
